Where the eighteenth century is still at home
The Cigolotti counts built it in 1740 on the timber trade with the Republic of Venice, and for generations it was their home. Listed by the State in 1939, it was returned to its eighteenth-century form by four years of work under the Soprintendenza. Today you sleep among its frescoes.
From a table for four to the great banquet
The table for four is in the Cantinetta, the great banquet in the Barchessa, where two ground-floor halls seat up to one hundred and fifty. In between, the Salone Veneziano and the Sala dei Quadri with sixty seats each, and the Stanza dei Putti for a table of sixteen. Civil ceremonies are held inside the Villa.
